THE CIM2023 - INTERNATIONAL METROLOGY CONGRESS BECOMES A 4-DAY EVENT WITH PARALLEL SESSIONS COVERING THEMES RESPONDING TO THE WORLD’S CHALLENGES. THE CONFERENCE WILL PROVIDE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE AND TO COLLECT INFORMATION ON MARKET AND RESEARCH DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF MEASUREMENT.

The CIM is the one event where metrology meets science, industry and quality infrastructure bodies. It promotes the development of solutions to answer global key challenges, especially by ensuring that we can trust in measurements.

The congress will be run under 3 key applications: Industry 4.0, Health, Climate Challenges. It includes 200 conferences, divided in technical sessions, poster presentations and round tables. The synthesis programme is as follows ⤵️

18 DIFFERENT ORAL SESSIONS

For this edition, each lecture lasts 15 minutes including 5 minutes for Questions/Answers. For a better overall organisation, every oral sessions start and end at the same time. The oral presentations will take place in dedicated conference rooms. 

6 ROUND TABLES

Addressing the following topics:

  • The impact of metrology in the digital transformation: challenges and opportunities
  • Industry 4.0: Offline to Inline measurments
  • Can metrology keep up with the hydrogen revolution?
  • What does it mean to be a  metrologist in the 21st century?
  • Metrology challenges in medical measurement, detection, diagnosis and digitalisation
  • Metrology in the loop of the circular economy

2 POSTER SESSIONS

This year, a dedicated poster session will be introduced to CIM2023. Posters will be displayed in the exhibition area in the Metrology Village, the core location of the event. This year, two time slots are dedicated for the poster presentations:

- Tuesday Posters will be displayed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The author of the poster will present her of his poster, will answer any question or discuss research results in more detail on Tuesday from 16.00 to 17.30.

- Thursday Posters will be displayed on Thursday and Friday. The author of the poster will present her of his poster, will answer any question or discuss research results in more detail on Tuesday from 11.15 to 12.45.


Prior to the poster session, authors will be encouraged to pitch their poster in our ‘Poster area’ in order to attract more experts to their poster.

MetClimVOC - SOLD OUT

It is NOT possible to attend the workshop anymore.

This workshop (english only) will take place on Tuesday March 7 morning and will deal with the monitoring of climate key parameters in atmospheric measurements. Places are limited and access is by pre-reservation only.
